help with un-shaved head measurement [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I made the dire and stupid mistake of using a local machine shop again. I need to know how many inches they shaved off the bottom of my head when they resurfaced it. Could someone who has an intact head laying around take a depth measurement of the depth of the coolant grooves around the combustion chambers, or perhaps the oil passage next to the headbolt hole that looks like a punctuation comma? The measurement needs to be precise into the thousandths of an inch range. Note to
