Gen4 Engine Knock [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Purchased a Gen4 3SGTE from a texas supplier and it knocks and the turbo seals are bad right off the bat. Trying to find a good supplier for another gen4 motor or should I go for the newer gen5 and hope to get a lower mileage motor? Any help would be appreciated. Im in VA so I think I will shop locally this time around.
