I bought my mr2 at a junk yard for 1K. It was running fine but just needed a gas tank and new front fender. I have since modded it out by lowering it with new coil springs, new bumper and side skirts and new air filter box. It is a lot of fun to drift especially on corners and on wet pavement. I did think about making it turbo but too much money. Also in the summer I like taking the t-top off on sunny days-makes a great convertible.
