Been a while since I have posted as nothing has gone awry. So the glue sticky pads that hold the mirrors onto the backing plates is over 25 years old. My mirror sticky pads are 27 at the moment and within two weeks both mirrors have almost fallen off completely. Just a friendly PSA. :D Check your mirror to see if it has started peeling back. Both of mine were barely holding on. A couple strips of 3M double sided tape is much cheaper than replacing the mirror glass. Take care all.
