The purpose of this thread is to help other board members realize there are other ways to reach your goals. And every mk1 owners goals I assume is more power. Of course with more power you would have to insure the chassis is solid and no rust, suspension is good and brakes are in perfect working order. I know when I first purchased it I was going to put the 20 valve in and it served it
