- So my car is a 91 NA>93 2nd gen. The car was running just fine, although it had sat for a while, when after driving for about 40 mins it died on me. I was in 5th gear going about 60mph. At first the whole car shut off, as if I lost power, when I went over some railroad tracks then it shut off completely.
