3S-GTE JDM 2nd Gen Turbo Engine Radiator drain valve

3S-GTE JDM 2nd Gen Turbo Engine, replace, ring, upper, jimb, temp, swap, brittle, cracks, hard, drain, valve, time, radiator, fill, coolant, drop, fluid

Does everyone else have problems with the radiator drain valve at the bottom of the radiator? I was driving to work when my water temp gauge shot up to 219 I pulled into a parking lot to see coolant draining out of the drain valve, Not the first time this has happened. Car currently only leaks when the car is running and the coolant system is under pressure. I tightened the crappy plastic wing but that opens the valve and it still leaks. Is there a way to fix this?
