- I am stressing about the fluid level in my auto transmission (I have manual transmissions in everything else). I have assessed the BGB and it is 3.3 quarts for a change. This can not be true if you have removed the torque converter, correct? I am on > 6 quarts and the level still reads low! I start the car in the AM and run the transmission through all the gears, sitting still, and check the level while idling. It reads low. I drive 30 min to work this AM, and when hot, the level is low
