How to take apart the T Tops

So when im driving with the radio off, the left t top (driver side) rattles like something is loose. What im going to do is take it apart and see what needs to be tightened or what is causing it. The thing im worried about is the handle. According to the manual, it says to take the handle off by using a shop rag and pull it off. im worried about it and I dont want to try it myself resulting me to accidentally break something. If anybody has done this before to their t tops, please tell
