- For a couple of years now I have been building coilovers using OEM strut housings as a core. However, I have found that not only does a lot of work go into getting the OEM housings down to the point where I start to build them back up, but an awful lot of them are in fairly poor condition at this point. I do what I can to clean them up, remove flaking paint and rust, etc, but there is only so much that can be done.
I am considering taking things to the next level and building new housings
