- Hey guys, ok so I was driving my 86 mr2, I just dropped a new engine in it about 2 months ago and it has been flawless, but on sunday I was driving and not sure what happened, I took a hard right and had shifted down to 2nd gear, when I got out of the corner I got back on the gas to find I had no power. When shifted into neutral the car died, now it wont start. I went through and checked stuff, I have spark, the fuel pump is good timing belt isn
