to start out I own an 87, N/A, 7 rib, 16 valve redtop. Stock. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2393725 About a week ago, for no freekin reason whatsoever, it developed a knock overnight (literally). It started off around 2k to 2.5k under load but now its worked its way to 2k to 4k while cruising and also knocks a little at idle. It goes away at high throttle. Also it sounds more like a rattling kind of knock than a hard knock. I can
