No Start after head gasket and timing belt job. [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

    Hi, I just replaced my HG and timing belt going by the book. It is an 86 AW11. I followed the 86 book and torqued headbolts to 44 FTlbs. I got the timing marks lined up. Crank pulley with the dimple on the oil pump. Also first notch on the harmonic balancer matches the little stud that comes from the timing cover. I also make sure my intake cam was intalled at 12:00 and the exhaust was installed at 5:00. Timing marks on cam gears line up.. I crank it over and I can start it when i hold my
