I have a 1988 SC we recently purchased with 192,000 miles. It took a while to get running, but after driving only about 100 miles it developed a knock that is getting worse. It is probably my fault for not changing the oil as soon as we bought it. There were yellow metal shavings in the oil when we changed the oil yesterday. It was not knocking 100 miles ago and the car is parked for now.
