My daughter just bought 2002 MR2 but guess who has to deal with it. Nice little car fun to drive. Going through a qt of oil a week. From this site I have already learned that I either need to re-build or buy new motor. Anyone know a good mechanic in the St. Louis area? the dealership is quoting me $2700 for new rings. am I better off with a reconditioned engine?
