- I walked to the car (about 38 degrees outside). A couple cranks and it fired right up, high idle, and as I sat there waiting on the water temp sensor to increase, the idle moved down to normal. As I am driving home, the heater never really got hot, only luke warm. When I turned down my street the car seemed weak (cruised home fine ~30 min drive) so I pushed the auto into neutral and I noticed the tach gauge bouncing. I pulled into the garage and took this video.
