i have an 86 4age im assuming its a bad voltage regulator but id like to be sure before i pay to 70 dollars for a new one and then pay to have it put on (significant amount of money for a part time employee and full time student). it started out after i got the car back from the body shop (wrecked it and replaced front end) but while it was in the shop i went ahead and put a new head unit in it. i doubt a ground wire for a head unit would cause this problem. when driving it used to be
