recently purchased my n/a mr2 and the previous owner told me that the tranny my model has is e153 so all i had to do is buy the 3sgte motor and not the transmission...he told me that he kne this because he was signed up on a mr2 orum and that they told him that off by the vin #...i just want to be sure since my car aint running since the valves got messed up and my car isnt running anymore... vin# jt2sw22n0m0040086 thanks... :)
