- Hey guys, need some help solving a problem of mine. So i have a j-spec 4a in my 1986 & ever since I put it in there its been running wayyy to rich and it has really bad after fire on deceleration. Exhaust smells horrible and iv tried looking everywhere for the solution with no luck:(. Engine runs extremely cold and has trouble starting if temperatures in the low 50s. O and not to mention the bad mpg
