- I just took my 89 SC to, the shop to have a preliminary inspection done on my transmission. Needless to say there will be lots of work and money and sadness. But, I have the transmission from a non-SC aw11 sitting right next to my project car. So my question is: can I put that c50 transmission in my SC car in place of the c52 without any fuss or adverse effects or do I need to hunt down another c52 or just eat the 1000-2000 price tag on the work to get my current transmission rebuilt?
