Hi all, with regards to my problem posted about the decat problem in the MR2. I established that infact running the car without a catalytic convertor wasnt the problem. I took a few days off work and have gone to many of the local autoshops.(being in south africa,its is almost impossible to find a honest auto mechanic) Just a quick brief on what the problem in my MK3 was: After a long drive of about 120 km (75miles) the CEL would come on The engine would puff black smoke at redline
