- This has probably been covered before, but i;m tire of searching for it and I have yet to find an answer. But can a gen2 3sgte run 91 octane? do I need a usdm 3sgte ecu for it to run on 91 octane or is the gen2 ecu good enough.I live in south florida and 91 octane is the highest we got around here :(
I chose the 2nd gen because I hear the parts are easier to come by than the gen3. as much as I would like a gen3 i heard you can use the same parts as a gen1 on a gen2 as far as maintenance is
