- I just purchased a 1987 MR2 N/A with a 5-speed. I plan on stripping out all of the fuel injection as well as electronic ignition. build a sheetmetal intake for an Eaton m90 supercharger drawing through a 300cfm 2barrel carb and use a MSD boost referenced ignition control box. I plan on running somewhere between 5-8psi of boost.
So what am I forgetting? How strong is the N/A version of the block and transaxle? What else is going to be affected by the removal of the ecu? Any thought help,
