- The picture below shows how our SC cars middle timing cover is trapped by the alternator bracket and cannot be removed without severe damage to the cover, or maybe other parts too.

By cutting the side of the middle timing cover as shown in below picture, you, or the next owner, could replacement a timing belt or water pump without encountering a world of crappy frustration.
