- I was repairing my speedometer and had to remove the sending unit for inspection. When I removed the shaft from the tranny, the plastic gear did not come with the unit and disappeared into the tranny housing.
So now I have a small plastic gear somewhere in my tranny. I am trying to figure out what to do next.:(
