Gland nut2 x2 for aftermarket strut inserts [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I am going to be installing the rear strut inserts that I have for my MR2 and I need 2 gland nuts to fit them. They are gently used GAB 4 way adjustable struts, made by Wings Japan. OEM gland nuts will not fit, they must have a deeper recess to accommodate the bigger strut. Any aftermarket gland nut has the potential to work. and by the gland nut, I mean the (2.5 inch?)hex nut that goes directly into the strut housing. Thank you for any help.
