I have just purchased a 96 MR2 with Series 3 engine ie:higher compression, shim under bucket, variable length intake. Just wanted to know if anyone has put a set of performance cams in a series 3 engine. I have looked on line and found you can use a 272 degree cam with about 10mm lift without mods to this valvetrain. Anyway dont want to loose to much bottom end power so has anyone played with a 272 for inlet and say a 264 for exhaust before and if so how did it seem to be with bottom end power?
