MAF Sensor has oil [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

When the mechanic removed the throttle body, I looked inside the MAF Sensor and it had oil on the walls. Even the tube between the MAF and the throttle body has oil. I was wondering.. what does this mean? The mechanic says it might be from blow-by. The pistons were shot. What effects will it have, and what can be done to rectify the situation?
