If you suspect your distributor is leaking thru the interior seals you will see excessive oil leakage from these drain holes. There is also a O ring on the shaft that enters the cylinder head which can also cause seepage very close to the above drain holes. So correct diagnosis is important. Hope this picture can help new owners
