I want to run 225/40/17 and 255/40/17 [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

What offset and width should I run? Judging by the post Ive read I should be able to fit these without any rubbing on a lowered stock bodied car? I dont want to rub going around turns. I crashed a 240 from the tire gripping the innner fender and spinning me out. I will be running the car up and down mountain roads so this is a big concern of mine. Thanks
