Ebrake feels streched [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Over the last few days when i put the ebrake on it started to feel looser and looser and now when i pull the handle up theirs no tension at all and yesterday i guess it stayed on for a little bit causing my brakes to smoke, I just read online that i can adjust it using this: http://padandwheels.com/mr2/parkingbrake/adjust.jpg Is this true? Do i just turn the things with the arrows? Sorry ive never messed with the Ebrake before I just dont want to mess anything up lol
