4A-GE MK1 Engine, door, alarm, light, wire, negative, question, open, signal, gauge, work, anymore, dome, worked, cluster, reason, trigger, stuff, left, stolen, wiring, broken, damaged, door/dome, unscrew, switch, lower, 3002, viper, green, looped

So my MK1 got broken into and not much got stolen just some stuff I left in the car and nothing got damaged. The alarm I got (a viper 3002) has a green wire which it tell me its for negative door trigger. I did unscrew the door/dome light switch on the lower door jam and looped the wire around it and open the door to see if it would set off the alarm and it worked. My dome light does not work with the door anymore for some reason but the door light on the gauge cluster by the key does.
