Exhaust Leak! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Hey just looking for some help with an exhaust leak. Its coming from the down pipe right where it meets the Cat. I went to a Car-X to get a quote and they wanted $850 for a new down pipe, new cat, new muffler, and gaskets. Im not looking to pay all that much. I do have a pic showing the damage if anyone might have any ideas. The right side is the down pipe and the left is the cat. Its almost as if the two connectors broke off. My muffler did pop off the brakets and was dragged about 20 feet.
