Exhaust fell off! Towards the engine/headers? Welding back okay? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

as i was driving on the freeway today, my car all of the sudden just got 100X louder, sounding like a semi truck! After I got home and took a look, it seems as though the exhaust just fell off. Where it bolts on the manifold? (not engine smart) You think its okay if i take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it back together? What does something like that cost? and worst case scenario having pipe made shouldnt be too bad right? Here is what it looks like:
