Buying a car in PA [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Does anyone know what the exact procedure is if you live outside PA and are going to purchase a car from a private seller in PA? Does the seller just need to sign the Title over and fill out a bill of sale and you are done? I live in VA, I have a transfer permit from VA to more the car from PA to VA, but I am not sure what else needs to be done. Do we need to be with a notary to sign the title over?
