Wiring a shift light with tach, got a question!! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

So I got a free shift light with a built-in tach and electrical is not one of my strengths!! It has 3 wires: Red (ignition 12V+), black (ground), and a green wire (coil negative) Does anyone know which wire in the dash harness I can tap the green wire to?!? Also I have my gauges out and on the back of the cluster on the circuitry ribbon the is a IG- screw that goes to the tach, could I tap into that?!?! and also a
