I did some searching and found some useful stuff on here, but was unable to find and answer to my problem. This is my story: Alternator burned up, got new alternator. Car runs great. Engine bay seems quite warm when I shut it down upon reaching destination, after new alternator there seems to be a melting plastic type of smell, possible oil burning smell when I shut down the car. I notice it after getting out of my car. But otherwise car runs great. After about 2 weeks I am idling
