Clutch problems HELP!! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

clutch, hard, limited, reasonable, replacement, resources, sockets, high, stuff, jack, floor, slowly, problems, shift, drop, start, rise, rpms, revs

I have an 87 MR2, I think the clutch is going out..when I shift and hit the gas, the car revs then the Rpms drop and slowly start to rise again..how hard is a clutch replacement? And is it reasonable to do it myself? I have limited resources ( floor Jack, sockets, etc) but no high end stuff..pls help
