Distribtor problems? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

ok, so this morning i started my 87 N/A, it reved up to 2k like it normaly does from a cold start. After warming up, the needle drops to 500 and just stays like that for a wile before finaly reving up to 1.2k. I checked the plugs to see if it was the dizzy skipping a spark. Sure enough when i pulled #4 out, it remained at 500 rpms with no change. What would fix this, i just installed a new set of copper plugs, and i was thinkin about replacing the coil, distributor cap and rotor. Any
