Coolant steam [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

bleed, hoses, coolant, steam, water, steamed, hten, squirted, open, radiator, shut, till, tryed, finally, fixed, leak, cloth, squirting, stopped, nipple, today

I finally fixed my coolant leak the other day. I tryed to bleed it, but I do not have the bleed hoses. i have always just put a cloth below the bleed nipple and let it go till it stopped squirting air. in trying to do this today, it squirted a little bit of hot water then all steam. I dont think anything came out with the radiator cap shut, and hten steamed with it open. Is this just because I dont have the hoses?
