20V MK1 Engine Swap Silvertop torque? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

20V MK1 Engine Swap, silvertop, torque, supercharging, engine, wondering, internals, thnx, appreciated, torque/hp, pump, work, blown, dirt, cheap, wanting, wich, decent, worrys, counts

Hey everyone i just got a mr2 with a blown engine for dirt cheap, and i was wanting to put a silvertop in it. The only worrys that i have is that, while it has decent hp, it still has not much torque, wich is where it really counts. So i was wondering what the best way to get torque out of the silvertop is? Internals? supercharging? what will work best. About how much torque/hp can u pump out of this engine without supercharging? Any help would be appreciated, thnx
