My MR2 non responsive in 1st gear [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

So there are times when im driving and when i get going from a stop position to a moving, 1st gear doesnt seem to give me any power or response. i can hear it rev up but the car doesnt feel like its speeding up at all. The only time it feels/ seems to get power is when its in 2nd gear and up. whats up with my 2? also, where can i find a OEM distributor cap or better. i need to have mine replaced to get my RPM Guage to work properly
