First, new to this site but there is allot of great information here. I am helping a friend with his 85 MR2. It sits for 2 hours today idling fine, temp gauge in the middle. Nothing leaks. We took it on a seven mile ride. We are in Sicily Italy and that is how far it is between bases. About 5 miles in, we see water on the rear window. The gauge goes to 3/4. We never over heat, we get to the other base, stop there is steam and water coming out of the over flow area. After reading
