idle problems [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

1500, revs, told, surging, starts, problem, 800-900rpm, suggestions, suppose, 2000, idles, selling, bought, problems, lower, idle, start

i just bought my second mr2 after selling my first one. and it revs way lower than my first one. it revs at 1500 start up, but when it idles for a bit it goes down to about 800-900rpm and starts surging. ive been told that there suppose to rev at 2000 then go down to 1500? Any suggestions to fix this problem?
