i got an 88 mk1 yesterday. the front end around the wheels has a bittle of a clunk or rattle when going over bumps..what could be the causes? also. on a friends mk1. it sounds like a boxer engine with no power until tvis kicks in at 4 grand then it accellerates normally and smooth. any thoughts? maybe just plugs, distributer wire?
