cleaning the engine bay [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

clean, engine, covering, watch, components, advice, dirty, aw11, grease, dirt, cleaning, self-car-wash, place, guys

Hi, My AW11 is really really dirty in the engine bay and I really want to clean it. I have never done this, but i want to take the car to a self-car-wash place and see if I can clean off the grease and dirt in the bay. Can you guys tell me what I should watch out for (like covering up components that cannot be wet) and any other advice on how I should do it. Thanks.
