Fell in love with the MR2...Crappy start! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I just purchased an MR2 about 2 weeks ago...A Green 1992 NA 5s-fe. The car ran great for the first week and then it got worse. The car is now sitting in my apartment complex parking lot with a shot Tranny. The car wont move when you put it into drive(automatic). Reverse works but no other gear. I have heard it could be the tranny filter, tranny mounts, or just the tranny itself. Any help would be great or if anyone can point me into the direction of a good deal for a new or used tranny
