fuel light on / off wile driving Tank full [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I have a 1985 MR2 I filled the gas tank to full and the fuel gauge works perfect. However, the fuel empty light graduely turns on and off while driving softly like if the tank was getting empty. I replaced the fuel cap but it still does this. Any Ideas? Thanks
