boost leak and spool rpm [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Hey guys my 91 mr2 turbo seems to have a boost leak which is my guess. It will hit 16 psi fine, but quickly begins to drop to about 9psi and hold constant at WOT. Also what rpms do your turbos fully spool at mine seems to not hit good boost till about 4300 rpm on a t3/t4 turbo. My main question is how do I know if I have a boost leak or not?
