How do I change final drive ratio [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I have a 2001 MR2 Spider. At 70 mph I am turning over about 3700 RPMs. Is there a way to change gear ratios so I will be turning over about 3000-3100 RPMs? I want to change final drive ratio, not just an individual gear . Feel free to reply by email and thanks.
